Jo and Mike and their lovely family! May 16, 2012

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jennifer Cooney @ 2:44 pm

I met this family out at the IMA on Monday. All of the family was together visiting for Mother’s day weekend and they did a big family photo shoot before their daughter, Erin and her family went back to Colorado.

Erin and Katie wanted to do this session for their parents and I love getting to photograph generations and grandparents with grandchildren. I think it is such a gift!

Katie’s two boys were energetic little guys that were ready to check out the whole 100 acres of the IMA. They were speedy but I am quick and I got some sweet photographs of them all!

You can tell Erin’s son, Sawyer likes being around his cousins and they all have a lot of fun together. Eloise was totally zonked out by the end of the shoot. She is the adorable little 6 month old in the photographs. She was super smiley and sweet for the session.

I hope you guys enjoy the preview! It was nice meeting you all!

Mallory and Spencer & Family at the Canal! May 15, 2012

It is such an awesome afternoon when you get to spend it with such lovely people. People that are your friends and make you smile and anyone in their family you meet is just the same way.

I have known Mallory and Spencer’s Grandma for over 10 years I suppose. Ever since I worked at the hospitals doing newborn photographs. I would also look forward to getting to see her in the Nicu she was always so kind to me. Now I don’t get to see her like before so it was very nice to see her for awhile last night. She has two beautiful daughters Alli and Abbi ( I am not sure on the spelling of your name Abbi..sorry!) and Alli has two kids , Spencer and Mallory.

These kids are so hilarious and fun to photograph. Mallory is that kid that just like I was as a kid loves playing in the dirt and being outside! I think that is great she is like that! She was rolling down hills and having a great time! Spencer laughs easily especially when I asked him to talk like a pirate and he is quick to do anything his big sister is doing.

It was so nice meeting you Abbi! I hope you guys enjoy the preview and I get to see you all again sometime soon!

Much love,

Jennifer

Towne and Hudson at Coxhall Gardens!

I love this little family. I think the Brad and Michelle should write a parenting book. I know from their calm parenting and the way they talk to their children acknowledging that their thoughts and opinions are important they will always have a wonderful relationship with Towne and Hudson.

Hudson is a super happy little guy but we caught him waking up from nap time. So I think he was a bit confused about what was going on. But it was super easy to coax some smiles out of him. Towne is as always sweet, patient and so polite. I think she is just the most adorable little girl. I love how she talks to her parents and looks and loves on her little brother. She is an amazing big sister!

I hope you guys enjoy your preview!

Much love,

Jennifer

Sam and Ben at Coxhall Gardens May 14, 2012

I will admit I was a little out of my element shooting two brothers that are in their tween years. That is a tricky age typically. Well not with these two. The session could not have been easier.

Sam and Ben are kind, considerate, good listeners and really good to one another and their momma. They have amazing parents and I think they should be really proud of their boys.

I did a lot of fun stuff with them at the shoot that I think they enjoyed…or at least didn’t hate ;)

Missy it was so good seeing you! You look wonderful! I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s day and enjoy the preview!

Much love,

Jennifer

Jerry and Stephanie’s E Session at Oliver Winery May 10, 2012

Filed under: Olivery Winery,beloved sessions,engagement,engagement session — Jennifer Cooney @ 10:14 pm

I adored editing these photographs for the blog. They were so easy to work with and photograph it made it hard to narrow down my favorites for the blog!

I remember when I met with them a few months ago they shared with me what was important to them. They seems to be in sync about what they both wanted. They shared with me how Jerry proposed…. A ring in a Happy Meal…Because Stephanie would probably figure out anything else. ( Which sounds like me :)

When you see these guys together you can tell they make one another deeply happy and are very comfortable with one another!

I so look forward to your wedding and reception in September!

Enjoy your preview!

Welcome to the world, Kennedy Marie!

I got an email a little over a week ago saying, ” Our precious Girl has arrived!”. A subject line couldn’t get much sweeter I don’t suspect.

Nick and Stephanie I have had the pleasure of knowing for a few years. I did their engagement photographs. I still remember that clear as day. Nick had on his cowboy boots she had on heels. They got in the creek for me and we had a great shoot. The wedding was even better! I remember everyone at their wedding being such a loving, fun bunch! They are surrounded by love. Now Kennedy is a part of that big circle of love. ( I promise I am not trying to go all Fockers on you ;)

I went out Monday to photograph little Kennedy. She was just 1 1/2 weeks old. She was super peaceful when I got there rocking in Grandma’s arms. But then I had to come stir things up. She wasn’t so excited about the photo shoot but I don’t think you would know by the pics :)

I had to include one photograph of Chloe their little dog giving Kennedy kisses. It was just cute how protective and concerned this dog is about the little baby that has invaded her home.

Nick and Stephanie I am so happy for you two!

Enjoy the preview!

Much love,

Jennifer

Adorable Evan at the IMA!

Exactly 10 months ago I photographed this little guy at the same spot. A wedding brought his family back to town from Florida so it was nice to get to see them again!

Evan has gone from a smiley , crawling little guy to a fiercely independent boy that is running ( Very cutely running btw) and fearless boy!

Karen and Jason you guys are such a sweet family and you are such wonderful parents!

Happy Mother’s Day Karen!
