This little bundle of joy was born on Christmas Day.

Claire’s parents Blake and Chelsea had me photograph their wedding nearly 3 years ago. I have always found them to be such a cool couple and people I could hang out with anytime and know we would have something to talk about. I haven’t seen them in forever so I was so excited to get to see them again and meeting their new daughter.

Claire was so wonderful for the whole session! In fact she was so good laying in wooden bowls and on hard book shelves that Blake and Chelsea might rethink where they put her to bed. She seemed to really like those hard , confined spaces I should of left that wooden bowl with you

It was so great to see both of you! Your daughter is just perfect! I hope she lets you get some sleep soon!

I went over to Rachel and Eric’s home yesterday morning to photograph their sweet new addition, Landon.

I have gotten the opportunity to photograph little Evie, Landon’s big sister, since she was born.

Evie has always been really wonderful around me for photographs but yesterday she was quite unsure of me being there. She was not having it really. So I hid around corners and tried to sneak shots. Eventually she warmed up with when we started playing with her toy helicopter.

Landon is just a sweet , calm little guy. He was wonderful for the session.

I went to Sallie and Joe’s house yesterday to do Sophie’s 4 month photographs. She has changed so much since I saw her last for her newborn pics.

She was really happy and lively when I got there. She is doing a lot of babbling now and definitely is aware of everything going on around her.

She was not a fan of me trying to prop her up…and by the end was arching her back and rubbing those big beautiful eyes yearning for a little cat nap.

With the weather being unseasonably warm we did a few photographs outside as well which was nice albeit strange to be able to do in January.

It was great seeing you guys again!

I met these two a couple of weeks ago and booked their wedding and engagement session.

We took advantage of the unseasonable warm weather and got out to the IMA and shot photographs for a their movie poster and and engagement session. The weather and light was beautiful.

If you saw this couple you would think they just recently met. They look at each other with such love in their eyes. They make one another laugh so much! And they genuinely love to be around each other and you can really tell!

I had so much fun doing the session and am so excited for their wedding coming up later this year!

I met this family yesterday. Megan came across my website and had read about my daughter , Maya and her cancer.

Her sweet little 4 year old son was diagnosed at just 4 months old with a neuroblastoma. The tumor was removed and he went through Chemotherapy. He is doing great now! He showed me his scar and told me about having a Big tumor. He has so much energy and personality!

Carson is a super happy and peaceful baby. He is easy to make smile and calm down. You can tell his big brother just adores him so much!

Megan and Brian it was so nice meeting you guys! You have such a lovely family and are just wonderful parents!

I have gotten to photograph this sweet family a few times now. Their son , Ethan I photo’d when he was a newborn and now he has an adorable little sister.

Ethan could not have been any more precious while I was there. He was jamming to music, showing me his dance move, giving his sister crayons to color with ( This was so cute) and holding my hand. Just melted my heart.

Anne and Corey your daughter is perfect! It was great seeing you all!

I have the opportunity to photograph beautiful, kind families all the time. But it isn’t everyday do I feel so comfortable to be myself and do the kind of work I love to do as I did this past Saturday with my lovely friend Lisa’s family.

She and her sisters are some of the most funny ladies you would ever meet. You see in their mom and dad, Jaci and John just where they get their zest for life and love for one another. They make you want to be a part of their family and go home and re evaluate what you deem important in your life.

I think I am pretty good at keeping things in perspective. Loving large and not letting the little things get me down and I think this family is really good at keeping things in perspective. They love being with one another and have traditions they are passing along to their children. All the cousins love being around one another and were such a joy to photograph.
