This little lady is always a little unsure about having her photo taken..but I think she is warming up to the notion.

We met at the Flying Cupcake to get you know the messy, funny shots of a kid destroying a cupcake…or not destroying it rather…She was totally on to us so she really wanted no part of it…I do think she secretly liked the icing but she’ll never tell.. :-)

The photo’s turned out adorable anyhow even if she didn’t eat any cake. She is the cutest little girl so how could they not…

I hope you guys enjoy the preview! She is so stinkin’ adorable!

Sweet Baby Carter!

I met my Leah out at the IMA the other day to get some photographs of her 2 month old baby boy, Carter. Carter is my friend, Colleen’s, niece.

Leah and Carter live out in St. Louis and were here visiting her family and so I was honored she wanted to get some photographs done of her son with me while she was here.

Carter is a cutie! He has such an expressive little face. Chubby cheeks, defined chin just adorable!

His cousins, Keaton & Elle were all about the baby it was pretty cute!

Leah congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Mike & Denee’s Baby Grace…

Denee contacted me and told me she stumbled across my website when searching for a photographer and she has her own “Baby Grace” she needed newborn photo’s taken of.

I went out to their apartment on Sunday to do these. This little girl is a doll! And so smiley and cooporative.

Both Mike & Denee are such a sweet couple and overjoyed to have their first baby. All of their family lives back in New York so they were hoping to head back there if they found jobs. So,as it turned out, just days before I did their photos, Mike was offered a teaching job back in New York and so they had to move within days and head back. But it is amazing sometimes how all the doors open at just the right time. I often feel like that about the people I meet in my life with my job.

You two have such a beautiful daughter! Thank you for having me come take Grace’s newborn photographs!

You’ll have to keep me posted with an updated pic of this cutie from New York!

Brian & Chelsea’s Wedding… August 31, 2010

Chelsea has to be one of the most laid back brides I have ever met. She was so easy to work with! I met her downtown at the Embassy Suites to get shots of her getting ready…then…about 6pm, we headed over to the State house where they were having their evening ceremony.

I love the State house…it is a beautiful building to shoot in. Lots of available light and beautiful fixtures.

They had a friend of theirs perform the ceremony so it was really personal to them.

After the ceremony we all went back to the Embassy Suites to celebrate.Chelsea was a beautiful bride with an amazing dress…A zip off dress! It was awesome…so after her formal dances at the reception she zipped that thing off into the hot cocktail dress for the rest of the night! I thought that was so cool!

Their group of friends were a lot of fun too!  I believe I can say with absolute sincerity that I took the craziest photo I have ever taken at their ceremony! That will not be posted on the blog haha….

You guys are so much fun! We enjoyed hanging out with you and your family and friends!

Enjoy your preview!

I am totally obsessed with these adorable little outfits these two had on!

These two have grown up so much since I saw them last…only one year ago. They are running all over the place now and totally make one another laugh.

Both sets of grandparents were there so we got a few pics with each of them as well.

Thank you so much for coming out for your session with us! I really appreciate it and I hope you enjoy the preview!

Take care,

Jennifer

Lisa & Yvette August 27, 2010

These two beautiful ladies met one another over 20 years ago in Hawaii….now…thanks to Facebook…they have reconnected. It is like no time has passed for the two of them.

I have certain close friends of mine that I can go years without seeing or talking to them and we can pick right up where we left off like no time has passed. It’s a special thing…and it is definitely the case for these two ladies.

We went out to the IMA and got some beautiful photo’s of the two of them.

I hope you guys enjoy these! It was a pleasure meeting you Yvette…and it is so great to see two people so happy & in love!

Kevin, Wendy, Isaac, Allie & Ella …and new baby on the way!

What a sweet, sweet family! I love getting to see these guys. They have such well rounded, funny and smart kids. They aren’t afraid to get dirty, they are fun for photo’s…and…they make me laugh!

We met at the IMA and walked back around the new 100 Acres. They skipped rocks, climbed trees and were just being kids and that is refreshing to see kids that can enjoy the outdoors.

Ella the newest addition to the family is 1 now and she is just a happy little girl. She didn’t get upset once and was wonderful for the session!

Wendy had bought 3 big rainbow colored lollipops for the session and we were going to do a shot with all 3 kids and the lollipops…but one of the lollipops was dropped immediately shattering all over the ground. so we did some shots with the 2 lollipops and 3 kids. Then Allie so nicely gave Ella hers for some pics and Ella smashed it all over the ground…which made for fun pics! :)

It was great to see you guys! Enjoy your preview.
